Horse Health

Definition:
Whatever the means of absorption used, the liposoluble molecules of Essential Oils pass through the tissues and bloodstream; The E.O.'s high diffusability enables them to reach all the cells in a few minutes and thus neutralises the pathogenic germs directly, reaches the humoral system and modulates the immune system.
The energy provided by E.O.'s compensates for the loss of energy during disease and revitalizes to restore well-being. E.O.'s are eubiotic, i.e. they support self-healing through intense stimulation of the immune system.
Use:
1) Orally: (powerful impact on the oral mucous membranes) either directly by rubbing on the gums or the interior of the cheeks or in honey or on a sugar lump (which horses love) or in a liquid excipient (vegetable oil).
2) Transpulmonarily: by soaking cotton or vaporizing in the box, one allows the E.O's to evaporate gently and the horse breathes it in.
3) Transcutaneously:
- direct application
- lotions
- unctions
- ointments, creams and pomades
- in clay
Action:
A. On acute or chronic pathologies (through the humoral and immune system)
- Viral infections (rhinitides...)
- Bacterial infections (Bronchitis, sinusitis,...)
- The E.O's act on spasms, colics, ulcers, and diarrhoea.
- The genital sphere: for example on the mare's udder, to assist with foaling?
- In dermatology: (action on warts, mycotic dermatoses, abscess, mud scabies, wounds?).
O.E's have a strong healing, disinfecting, pest-destroying and anti-mycotic effect. They also have a powerful effect on tissue regeneration.
B. On the locomotor system.
- Blows and haematomas
- osteoarthritis, arthritis and the after-effects of wounds
- distortions
- tendonitis
- for warming up muscles before exercise and contests
- to invigorate or relax the muscles
C. E.O's have excellent anti-inflammatory and antalgic properties.
They act directly on the locomotor system via the tissues and veins, the arteries and the lymphatic system.
D. On the immune system.
They activate the immune defence system (leukocytes, lymphocytes, prostaglandins). E.O's therefore have a preventive action.
E. On the nervous system.
They have a calming or stimulating effect according to the E.O. used.
In conclusion:
Considering the broad spectrum of activities, the speed of action and the effectiveness of Essential Oils, they are most necessary to horse and rider. Horse Oil Diffusion offers an effective, biological and natural alternative to the care of horses.
